Kerala: Colleges to reopen on June 1, Online classes to be held

Thiruvananthapuram: All colleges will open on June 1 in Kerala. The circular issued by the Higher Education Department instructed the colleges to conduct online classes till regular classes resume.

College principals are directed to ensure the attendance of teachers and students in the virtual classes. Principals are asked to make alternative arrangements for those students who are unable to access online classes.

The circular also directed colleges to allot exam centres for university exams to students according to their convenience.

The Higher Education Department also recommended the colleges to explore the scope of TV, DTH and radio channels to carry out virtual classes like Victers channel.
