Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has warned that any carelessness could prove costly as far as Coronavirus is concerned. He directed all concerned to maintain utmost caution in view of the prevailing Covid-19 situation. Authorities have intensified random checking in districts bordering Delhi.
Door to door active case surveillance campaign has been launched In Meerut district which currently has the second highest number of active covid patients in the state.
With an aim for screening of 41 lakh residents of the rural and urban areas around 1400 teams of health workers have been pressed into the campaign which will continue till 27th december. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said in a review meeting that complete caution should be maintained keeping in view the Chhath festival. He has instructed to ensure effective cleaning of the ghats during the Chath festival.
The Chief Minister congratulated people of the state on the occasion and again appealed them to celebrate the festival at home and in case if they go to the ghats then must comply with social distancing guidelines.
