Campaigning for the second phase of assembly elections in Bihar will end this evening. 94 constituencies spread over 17 districts will go to polls in this phase on Tuesday. 1,463 candidates, including 146 women are in the fray for the second phase. Political parties have intensified their campaign to woo the voters. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address four election meetings today at Chhapra, Motihari, Samastipur and Bagha. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will join Mr Modi in two of the meetings at Samastipur and Bagaha.
Seeking votes in favour of NDA in Sonepur BJP President JP Nadda alleged The RJD is an anarchist party and the Congress is anti national ,this is the grand alliance in Bihar. Will this alliance ensure development. Mr Nadda asked as he posed another question to the people whether they want a lantern era or an LED era. Addressing election meeting in Bhagalpur Chief Minister Nitish promised those who are not in position to pay education loan their loan will be waived if his government is voted to power.
On the other hand Senior RJD leader Tejaswi Yadav said if his alliance will be voted to power people of all section of society will be respected. Mr Yadav said his government will fulfill promises to provide 10 lakh government jobs to unemployed youths.Criticising BJP Senior Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala questioned why special status has not been given to Bihar.LJP President Chirag Paswan claimed formation of BJP – LJP government after election and will inquire into scam of Saat Nischay Yojana. Besides RLSP President Upendra Kuswaha leaders of left parties are also addressing rallies and road shows.
