BJP wins five constituencies in LAHDC Leh general council elections

In Leh Ladakh, Bharatiya Janata party swept Nubra region in the 6th LAHDC Leh general council elections. Total 8 seats were won by BJP out of 9 results declared so far from the total 26 seats that went for polls on 23rd October.

In 6th LAHDC Leh general council elections BJP is leading in the results declared so far. BJP is declared winners in Diskit, Turtuk, Tegar, Panamik and Hundar constituencies in Nubra region. Apart from these, BJP also claimed Tangtse, Kurzok and Martselong seats and leading in Thiksey.

Independent candidate Konchok Stanzin declared winner in Chushul Constituency and while another independent is also leading in Nyoma.

Congress leading in Igoo, Kyungyam, Sakti Constituencies. Final results of all 26 Constituencies are expected before this evening.
