Australian investors have shown keen interest to invest in Karnataka, says Deputy CM, Dr. C N Ashwathnarayan

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. C N Ashwathnarayan, told media persons in Bengaluru today that Australian investors have shown keen interest to invest in Karnataka. He was speaking after holding a webinar with the investors in Australia in the presence of Australian High Commissioner to India Barry O’Farrell today. 

Dr. Ashwathnarayan said that he told Australian investors about the incentives extended by the State to those investing in electronics and semiconductor manufacturing. He also pointed out that the State leads in bio-technology, medical device manufacturing, space technology and service sector. 

He shared with Australian investors the information that Karnataka contributes 40 per cent of Exports in IT, 35 per cent in Bio-technology sector and 64 per cent in electronics equipment manufacturing.
