AUS Vs IND 1st WODI: Australia Beat India By Five Wickets

In Women’s Cricket, Australia defeated India by five wickets in the first One-Day International of a three-match series in Brisbane. Chasing a modest target of 101, Australia reached the total comfortably in just 16.2 overs. Georgia Voll of Australia was the top scorer of the match, remaining unbeaten on 46 runs.

Opting to bat first, the visitors were bowled out for 100 runs in just 34.2 overs. For India, Jemimah Rodrigues was the top scorer with 23 runs, while Megan Schutt starred with the ball for the hosts, taking five wickets.

The second match of the series is scheduled to be played on December 8 in Brisbane.
