Asian and European stocks today in sync with overnight robust gains in the US equity markets. However, Asian and European indices traded in a narrow range.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng and Japan’s NIKKEI-225, both gained 0.4 percent. China’s Shanghai Composite index and Singapore’s Straits Times, both rose 0.2 percent. Korea’s KOSPI added marginally by 0.1 percent.
European share markets were up in intra-day trade. London’s FTSE 100 gained 0.2 percent and Germany’s DAX jumped 0.4 percent while France’s CAC fell 0.2 percent.
