In Jammu and Kashmir, two terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in South Kashmir Tral sub-division of Pulwama district this morning.
Security sources said that the encounter broke out in Gulshan Pora area of Tral following launch of cordon and search operation on the basis of specific information about the presence of terrorists in the area.
They said the operation is still going on. One more terrorist is believed to be trapped in the area. The identity of the slain terrorists is being ascertained.
