In Nepal at least 14 persons including eight women and two children died after a bus plunged into a river in Sindhupalchowk district.
The accident occurred this afternoon when a bus skidded off the road and fell some 500 meter into Sunkoshi river in Sukute area along the Araniko.
Highway in Sindhupalchowk district. According to police 47 people have been injured in the accident.
The rescue and relief work is underway. The ill fated bus was en-route to Kathmandu from Maga Deurali area of Dolakha district.
