Women’s World Cup, New Zealand beat India by 62 runs at Seddon Park in Hamilton

In the ICC Women’s World Cup, New Zealand defeated India by 62 runs at Seddon Park in Hamilton today. Chasing a victory target of 261 runs, India were all out at 198 runs in 46.4 overs. Harmanpreet Kaur with 71, captain Mithali Raj 31, and Yastika Bhatia 28 were the top scorers for India.

India’s Jhulan Goswami became the joint-highest wicket-taker in Women’s ODI World Cups. She equalled the tally of 39 wickets taken by Lyn Fullston of Australia from 1982 to 1988.
