Vice President C P Radhakrishnan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today extended greetings to all personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on their Raising Day. In a social media post, Mr Radhakrishnan said that with exemplary courage, unwavering dedication and the highest standards of professionalism, the CRPF has made an invaluable contribution to safeguarding the nation’s unity, integrity and internal security. He added that the nation salutes its brave personnel for their valour, sacrifice and steadfast devotion to duty. Mr Modi said that the CRPF has distinguished itself through its unwavering courage and commitment to duty. From safeguarding internal security to serving citizens during challenging situations, CRPF personnel have always placed the nation first. Prime Minister said that their efforts in eliminating the menace of Maoism are particularly notable and have contributed to peace and progress in the lives of several people.Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also extended greetings to the CRPF personnel and their families on this occasion. He said that CRPF is the symbol of unwavering courage, exceptional professionalism and selfless service. The Defence Minister added that the CRPF stands as one of the strongest pillars of India’s internal security. He emphasized that the unmatched dedication, countless sacrifices and steadfast commitment of CRPF to safeguard the nation and strengthen its unity inspire every Indian.
