In Uttar Pradesh, schools will reopen today for students of class 9 to 12 after a gap of around 7 months. State government has not only issued guidelines in this regard but also deputed officers for inspection to ensure strict compliance of the Covid protocols. AIR correspondentreports that , after a long gap the classrooms will again become noisy with the voices of students who will reach there in an all together different environment. Clad with masks and maintaining the 6 feet distance in classes which will only have 50 percent occupancy, the classroom will take another look. Thanks to Covid.
Students will surely miss the usual exchange of notes, stationary and any other goods which is now prohibited under new guidelines. Apart from the usual black board chalk and duster this time there will be some new elements like sanitizers, hand wash, thermal scanning, and arrangement for primary treatment in the schools. As per the guidelines Children will be able to come to school only with the consent of parents. Children will not be forced to come to school and online classes will continue as before.
