Uttar Pradesh: Counting begins for 11 legislative council seats

In Uttar Pradesh, counting for 11 legislative council seats of  graduate and teacher constituencies started this morning amid tight security. Fate of 199 candidates, including 114 for graduates and 85 for teachers constituencies, will be decided today.
 
Out of 11 seats for which voting took place on 1st of this month, 5 are of Division Graduate constituenciesand 6 of Division Teachers constituencies. The division graduate constituencies are Lucknow, Agra, Meerut, Varanasi and Allahabad-Jhansi constituency.  The division teachers constituency are Lucknow, Agra, Meerut, Varanasi, Bareilly-Moradabad and Gorakhpur-Faizabad division teachers constituency.
