The United States of America has urged nations worldwide to declare Jaish-e-Mohammed as a global terrorist outfit, and its leader Masood Azhar as a global terrorist.
America also condemned the attack on a CRPF convoy in Pulwama District of Jammu and Kashmir that killed more than 40 soldiers. It offered condolences to the families of the martyred soldiers.
United States Ambassador-at-Large and Coordinator for Counter-terrorism Nathan A. Sales addressed the media. After calling for the nations worldwide to designate JeM as a terrorist state, he said that the United States has already done so and the domestic authorities have cut off all resources, such as money, to the JeM leadership.
He called for multilateral efforts to label JeM and similar organisations as global terrorist groups and take action against their leaderships.
