Uttar Pradesh government has made it compulsory for people arriving to the state from different parts of the country to undergo Rapid Antigen test at railway stations, bus stations and airports.
AIR Correspondent reports, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked to ensure that covid protocol must be followed in every situation.
He said that in the wake of upcoming festivals and panchayat election we have to be extra careful and there is a need to intensify the contact tracing.
Recently there is a little surge in the number of new covid patients in state.
Chief Minister said that this surge is an alarm for us and therefore the number of RT-PCR tests should be increased and dedicated Covid hospitals must remain active in all districts.
The Control and Command centre has also been activated and government is keeping close eye over the situation.
Chief Minister also said that no Vaccine should be damaged in the process of Vaccination.
The Vaccination drive is going on smoothly in state. Uttar Pradesh is the first state in the country to have twice vaccinated over 3 lakh people in one day.
On 12th March 3,36,963 and on 15th March 3,11,351 beneficiaries were vaccinated.
