Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers J P Nadda inaugurated the Laghu Udyog Bharati Pharma Conclave 2026 in New Delhi.In a social media post, Mr Nadda said that India’s pharmaceutical sector is a key pillar of nation-building, driving innovation, creating jobs, ensuring affordable healthcare, and strengthening the country’s global leadership.He added that India has emerged as the world’s largest supplier of generic medicines, a leading vaccine producer, and a trusted pharmaceutical exporter to over 200 countries under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.The Minister urged all stakeholders to work together to further strengthen India’s position as the trusted “Pharmacy of the World.”
