Former Maharashtra Chief Minister and Senior BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis has said, the Union government has taken many crucial decisions for the welfare of the farmers.
He said, therefore farmers across the country are supporting the new farm laws.
Mr Fadnavis was speaking in the closing ceremony of Kisan Atma Nirbhar Yatra in Islampur of Sangli District in Maharashtra.
He said that the farmers are being benefitted from the important decision of the Central government to fix the Minimum Support Price for many crops.
Kisan rail has started to transport the farm produce to various parts of the country. He added that many issues of Sugar industy were resolved due to the fixing of FRP and rates of Sugar.
Mr Fadnavis alleged that farmers’ are being misled due to false propaganda about contract farming.
