In Bihar, today is last date for filing of nominations for the third and final phase of assembly elections. 78 assembly seats spread over 15 districts will go to polls in this phase on the 7th of November. 337 candidates have so far filed their nominations for this phase. Three candidate have filed nominations for bypolls to Valmikinagar Lok Sabha seat. Bypolls to this seat will be held along with the final phase of assembly elections in the state.
Meanwhile, political parties have intensified their campaign for the first phase of assembly elections. 71 seats spread over 16 districts will to to polls in the first phase on October 28. AIR correspondent reports that inall election meetings Senior RJD leader Tejaswi Yadav is targetting Chief Minister for failure of providing jobs to youths during 15 years rule of NDA in the state. Mr Yadav claims when his alliance will be voted to power 10 lakh government jobs will be provided to youths and decision in this regard will be take in the first cabinet of his government.
On the other hand Chief Minister Nitish Kumar alleged that Tejaswi is making false promises and misguiding youths. Raising question over this issue Mr Kumar says from where revenue will come for huge employment. Addressing election meetings in Darbhanga Senior BJP leader Bhupendra Yadav alleged people of the state have seen misrule of 15 years of RJD. Senior Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala said this election is for change.
Leaders of left parties are also addressing election meetings in support of their party candidates. Accusing Nitish led government CPI ML general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharyya said the state government failed to provide job opportunity to migrant workers. LJP President Chirag Paswan said there will be surprising result on November 10.
