I was on my way to the studio. It was yet another horror film shoot. The director specially wanted me to act in it for some reason. Since I was offered this opportunity to show some talent, I readily accepted. We started right away by heading towards the old warehouse to start the story. It was quite dark and dusty in there, but, the camera lights made a difference. ‘Lights, Camera, Action’. I was quite curious about what I’ll find while wandering through the warehouse. I noticed spider webs, bats and pigeons, old storage stuff and a flickering bulb, as usual like other haunted stories. Nothing new. As I walked into the centers of the room, I started feeling connected. My calm and patient mind was turning panicky. After all, something was strange. Suddenly, a strong wind blew, and I heard the shatter of a window. I saw a vision, right in front of me. I saw my childhood days spent in my earlier home. Me, sitting there with my doll, and mum baking pie. Grandma narrating thrilling bedtime stories to me. It was more than anything I could ask for. Reliving my past. Apart from this, I also saw the time grandpa passed away and we relocated. This made me tremble. One of my man thoughts was if grandpa was here. I heard whispers ‘Go back!’ Chills ran down my spine. I was so petrified, I stopped thinking for a moment. I was walking again, but rather carefully this time. I noticed the noisy bats and pigeons, made no sound at all, as silent as a person in deep thought. ‘Cut’ the director claimed. ‘Wonderful! We finished the first scene in one take. No doubt, I made the right choice.’ ‘Hmmm…’ I gave a smile. Though, in the end, I felt it was all for real.
