Telangana government has announced lifting of lockdown completely from today onwards. The decision came in the wake of decline in the number of COVID-19 cases and positivity rate in the state. The Government has issued Orders to this effect opening up of all sectors and removing all restrictions.
However, the Government urged people to observe COVID appropriate behaviour by wearing face mask, maintaining physical distance and keeping hands sanitized besides being away from crowds.
AIR Correspondent reports, after the State government’s decision to lift off lockdown, the reopening of all sectors came into force from this morning. After considering the reports by medical and health officials that the number of covid cases came down in the state and the pandemic is under control, the state government opted for reopening of all sectors.
The strict lockdown was in force from May 12th onwards in the state and lockdown relaxed for extended hours from 9th of this month. With lifting off restrictions, the Hyderabad Metro Rail services will resume close to normal operations from tomorrow, from 7AM to 9 PM. Markets.
Malls, entertainment and others will free from restrictions from today onwards. Meanwhile, the educational institutions will be open up for off-line classes from 1st July onwards and guidelines for the same are under preparation.
