In Tamil Nadu, 3,211 new cases of COVID-19 were reported yesterday. The State registered a total of 57 deaths in the past 24 hours. Three thousand 565 patients were discharged from the hospital after recovery yesterday. The active cases stand at 33 thousand 665.
A total of one lakh 54 thousand 763 samples were tested through RT PCR. Coimbatore district recorded 366 cases while Erode registered 251 covid cases in the last 24 hours. Chennai district recorded 189 covid cases.
