Tamil Nadu CM inaugurates seven industrial projects; lays foundation stones for nine other projects

In Tamil Nadu, seven industrial projects with an investment of over 1,298 crore rupees began their operations today. They were inaugurated by Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswamy through video conferencing from Chennai. They include auto-ancillary unit by Wheels India in Tiruvallur district, mobile chargers manufacturing unit at Nokia Telecom Special Economic Zone in Sriperumbudur and are expected to generate employment for 7,879 people.

The Chief Minister also laid foundation stones for nine other projects worth 10,062 crore rupees. They are set to generate employment for 8,666 people. They include a solar modules and cells manufacturing unit at Oragadam in Kanchipuram by Vikram Solar with an investment of 5,512 crore rupees.
