Supreme Court rejects Delhi gangrape convict Vinay Sharma’s plea against rejection of mercy plea by President

Supreme Court on Friday dismisses petition by one of the four December 16 gang-rape convicts Vinay Sharma challenging dismissal of his mercy petition by President Ram Nath Kovind.

Court holds that medical reports asserts that Vinay is psychologically fit and medical condition is stable.

The apex court also held that all relevant materials were considered by President Kovind.
