Soon Vande Bharat Express will be seen running between Delhi and Katra

The country’s second Vande Bharat Express will soon run between the Delhi-Katra rail route. While giving information on Tuesday, Chairman of Railway Board, Vinod Yadav said that it will start before the festival season. He said that due to the pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi temple, this route is very crowded. This is the reason why we have chosen this route for Vande Bharat Express. After the running of the Vande Bharat Express, the journey from Delhi to Katra will now be completed in 8 hours.

Due to the pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi temple, the Delhi-Katra route is one of the busiest rail routes. This is the reason that the Railway Board has selected the Delhi-Katra route for the second Vande Bharat Express. Due to high-speed Vande Bharat Express, the travel time on Delhi-Katra route will be reduced. Earlier on this rail route, it used to take 12 hours to reach Katra from Delhi by train, but now pilgrims from Vande Bharat Express will reach Katra in 8 hours. Vaishno Devi Temple will be the last station on this route.

Let us tell you that, on 15 February this year, the first indigenous train 18 was flagged off by PM Narendra Modi, later the name of this train was changed to Vande Bharat Express. It is being operated from New Delhi to PM Modi’s parliamentary constituency Varanasi. The maximum speed of the Vande Bharat Express is 160 km per hour, which is the fastest speed on the Indian rail network.
