The Sikkim government has taken elaborate steps to celebrate Har Ghar Tiranga initiative with full of enthusiasm. Senior officials in the Culture department who is the nodal agency to implement the program in Sikkim, informed that 1 lakh national flag to be distributed among citizens. The Culture department will hand over the tricolour to district administrations so that they can distribute amongst residence.
On 12th of August, Tiranga rally to be held from M G Marg at Gangtok in presence of Governor and Chief Minister. There will be an exhibition at M G Marg on that highlighting multiple themes. Later, a cultural concert to be organised at Manan Kendra with full of patriotic enthusiasm. Apart from Gangtok city, Tiranga rallies and cultural programs are also being held at other districts too.
