Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar has referred the breach of privilege complaint against Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha to the Privileges Committee for examination. BJP MPs S Phangnon Konyak and Narhari Amin, M Thambidurai of AIADMK and Sasmit Patra of BJD had filed a complaint alleging that Mr. Chadha included their names in a motion moved by him in the Upper House without their consent. The motion was to send the Delhi Services Bill to a Select Committee. As per the Parliamentary bulletin the matter has been referred to the Privileges Committee as prima facie it appeared to be a gross violation of the Rules and dignity of the aggrieved Members.
