Prime Minister launches over 97,500 mobile 4G towers built with indigenous technology

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched over 97,500 new 4G mobile towers established by BSNL, including 92,600 with the latest 4G technology from Jharsuguda in Odisha. Mr Modi remarked that India had lagged in the development of 2G, 3G, and 4G technologies and relied on foreign technology in this domain. This achievement positions India among the few nations capable of building and supporting their own telecom networks. The PM said, India will become the global hub of telecom technology in the future.
