Prez, Vice Prez & PM extend greetings to people of Jharkhand on state’s foundation day

President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President C P Radhakrishnan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Home Minister Amit Shah extended greetings to the people of Jharkhand on the state’s foundation day today. In a social media post, President Murmu said that the talented and hardworking people of the land of Bhagwan Birsa Munda have enhanced the pride of the state and the entire country.

She added that this state, rich in natural resources, has continued to make significant contributions to the nation’s development. The President said that the rich folk arts of the tribal communities here enjoy prestige both in India and abroad, and the brave warriors of this land have set unparalleled examples of service to Mother India.

The Vice President said that, enriched by the contributions of its diligent people, Jharkhand is playing an invaluable role in the nation’s development. He added that this land of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, imbued with valour, self-respect, and a rich tribal culture, is renowned for its glorious history.

The Prime Minister said, the land of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, enriched with tribal culture, has a history filled with tales of courage, struggle, and self-respect. He wished for the continued progress and prosperity of the state and all its people.

Home Minister Shah, in his message, said that Jharkhand has played a leading role in every endeavour, from the freedom movement to fostering national pride. He described Jharkhand as the sacred land of natural resources and tribal heritage.
