PM Narendra Modi to embark on 2-day visit to Gujarat starting tomorrow

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a two-day visit to Gujarat starting tomorrow.

The Prime Minister’s Office said that during the 2nd day of his visit, Mr Modi will participate in Somnath Amrut Mahotsav, marking the 75th anniversary of the Somnath temple’s restoration.

As part of the celebrations, the Prime Minister will participate in a series of auspicious religious and cultural events.

He will take part in the Vishesh Maha Puja, followed by the Kumbhabhishekam and Dhvajarohan ceremonies, marking the consecration rituals and hoisting of the temple flag.

The Prime Minister will also release a commemorative stamp and coin on the occasion, commemorating the rich legacy and spiritual significance of Somnath.

On his visit, the Prime Minister will also travel to Vadodara, where he will inaugurate the Sardardham Hostel and address the gathering.

The project includes hostel facilities for over one thousand boys and girls each, along with amenities like a central dining hall, library and auditorium.

The Prime Minister will also visit various facilities at the Sardardham complex, including the reception area, civil amenities, dining area and e-Library during the visit.
