Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed sadness at the demise of Mangal Munda, a descendant of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. Mangal Munda died at RIMS Ranchi. He was under medical treatment at the state hospital after he met with a road accident on 25th of November in Khunti.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a social media post, described Mangal Munda’s demise as an irreparable loss, not only to his family but also to the the tribal community of Jharkhand. Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar and Chief Minister Hemant Soren has expressed grief on the unfortunate death of Mangal Munda. CM Soren has assured help to the bereaved family by the State government.
