Over one lakh 90 thousand health workers vaccinated against COVID-19 in Odisha so far

Odisha has emerged as the number two state in the country with more than 50 per cent covid-19 vaccine coverage. Briefing media in New Delhi, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan commended the state for having achieved the target despite having a large number of healthcare workers.

As per the data released by the Centre, the state has already vaccinated more than one lakh ninety four thousand of its healthcare workers since the nationwide rollout of the vaccination drive.

As many as about 16000 Healthcare workers were administered vaccine shots in 230 session sites across the state yesterday. The state has targeted to cover about 3.5 lakh healthcare and frontline workers during the first phase of the drive by the 10th of February.
