More than 122 crore 41 lakh COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Health Ministry said, over 42 lakh four thousand doses were administered yesterday.
India reported over eight thousand new cases during the last 24 hours. India’s Active caseload stands at one lakh three thousand 859. Active cases account for less than one percent of total cases and it is currently at 0.30 percent, the lowest since March last year.
The Ministry said, the recovery rate is currently at 98.34 percent and it is highest since March last year. Over nine thousand people recovered in the last 24 hours and total recoveries touched three crore 40 lakh eight thousand 183.
The weekly positivity rate currently stands at 0.85 percent which is less than one percent for the last 15 days. The daily positivity rate is at 1.09 percent which is less than two percent for last 56 days.
The number of deaths due to the pandemic has reached four lakh 68 thousand 790. In the last 24 hours, 236 deaths were reported.
Health Ministry said, till now, over 64 crore two lakh tests have been conducted across the country.
