Application process for NEET (UG) Examination will begin from 5 p.m. today through NTA website. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan yesterday announced that the exam will be held on 12th of September across the country with full compliance to COVID-19 protocols.
In a series of tweets, Mr Pradhan said, to ensure social distancing norms, number of cities where examination will be conducted has been increased from 155 to 198. He said the number of Examination Centres will also be increased from the 3,862 centres used last year. Mr Pradhan said, face masks will be provided to all candidates at the centre, staggered time slots during entry and exit, contactless registration, proper sanitisation and seating with social distancing will also be ensured.
