Government will organize a special nationwide campaign for registrations on the National Fisheries Digital Platform to avail various benefits provided under Pradhan Mantri Matsya Kisan Samridhi Sah-Yojana from Friday. The Ministry of Fisheries said, the campaign will focus on organizing camps in key fisheries hotspots and potential areas across the country aimed at expediting the registration process, enhancing approval rates, and encouraging eligible stakeholders to avail themselves of the numerous benefits under the scheme. The campaign will continue till 22nd of February.
The main aim of Pradhan Mantri Matsya Kisan Samridhi Sah-Yojana is to formalize the fisheries sector, enhance access to institutional finance, promote aquaculture insurance, improve value chain efficiencies, and strengthen fish safety.
