Mahayuti Government Committed To The Welfare Of Underprivileged Says Prime Minister Modi In Maharashtra

In Maharashtra, Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that the NDA government at the Centre and the Mahayuti government in the state are committed to the welfare of the underprivileged.Speaking at a rally in Nashik, Maharashtra, Mr Modi said that 50 lakh women in the state have received free LPG connections under the Ujjwala Yojana, and more than 1.25 crore households have received piped water connections under the Har Ghar Jal Yojana. He further said that over 7 crore underprivileged people in the state are receiving free rations, and more than 7 lakh pucca houses have been built in the state under the PM Awas Yojana.Speaking about the initiatives of the Central Government and the Mahayuti government in Maharashtra for farmers, Mr Modi said that they are receiving financial assistance of 12,000 rupees annually under the PM Kisan scheme and the Namo Shetkari scheme. He promised to raise this aid to 15,000 rupees annually if the Mahayuti coalition is voted back to power. He also highlighted various initiatives like ethanol blending and reforms in onion buying that the government has implemented for the benefit of farmers.Highlighting infrastructural projects like Atal Setu, Vadhavan Port, Samruddhi Mahamarg, and Mumbai Metro as achievements of the government, Mr Modi hit out at the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance for stalling these projects. Mr. Modi noted that his government accorded classical language status to Marathi. He also highlighted the growth of the defence manufacturing sector in Nashik. Mr Modi addressed a rally in Dhule earlier today.Assembly polls are scheduled to be held in Maharashtra on 20th November, and the counting of votes will take place on 23rd November
