Is the time ripe for BJP to ascend Karnataka throne?

The people of Karnataka are awaiting “breaking news”. Reports about rapid political developments are afloat. Six or eight Congress legislators are rumoured to be ready to jump to the lotus camp.

The MLAs in the ruling coalition alleging that the BJP is poaching the coalition MLAs. The BJP has denied such allegations.

Meanwhile, the BJP is said to have split its legislators into groups and herded them away to undisclosed locations. Two Independent MLAs H Nagesh and R Shankar have sent their letters to the governor indicating their withdrawal of support to the JD(S)-Congress government. The BJP is said to have plans to include these two into their camp.

Analysts have opined that the people of Karnataka failed to bestow majority to a single party and thus have to reap the consequences of these kinds of political games.
