India says it is trying to ensure the release of remaining crew members who were detained on-board vessel MT Riah by Iran.
In response to a query on detention of Indian crew, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said, MT RIAH was detained along with 12 Indian crew members by the Iranian Coast Guard on 13th of this month.
He said, nine crew members have been released and they will be on their way to India soon. He said, Indian Mission in Iran has requested the Iranian authorities for the release of remaining crew members.
