India’s cumulative vaccination coverage exceeds 16.48 crore doses

India’s cumulative vaccination coverage exceeded 16.48 crore doses till yesterday. This includes over 95 lakh Healthcare Workers who have taken the 1st dose and nearly 64 lakh HCWs who have taken the 2nd dose.

A total of 2 lakh 62 thousand 932 beneficiaries of the age group of 18 to 44 years received their first dose of COVID vaccine yesterday. This has taken the cumulative total to over 11 lakh 64 thousand across 12 States and UTs. Nearly 23 lakh vaccine doses were administered yesterday on day 111 of the vaccination drive.
