– APEDA has also taken several initiatives to promote registered Geographical Indication (GI) products in India by conducting Virtual Buyer-Seller Meetings (VBSM) on agriculture and food products with UAE and GI products, including handicrafts with the USA.

– In order to ensure seamless quality certification of the products being exported, APEDA has accredited 220 laboratories across India for providing testing services to a wide range of products and exporters.

– APEDA also provides assistance under financial assistance schemes of infrastructure development, quality improvement and market development to promote the export of agricultural products.

– APEDA organizes exporters’ participation in international trade fairs, which provide a platform for exporters to market their food products in the global market.
