The tension between India and Pakistan in the aftermath of the terrorist attack in Pulwama district in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir can seriously affect the Afghan peace process, said Zahid Nasrullah Khan, Pakistan Ambassador to Afghanistan.

It may be recalled that the Pakistani terror attack on a CRPF convoy in Pulwama on 14 February killed over 40 soldiers. Jaish-e-Mohammed,  Pakistan-based terror group, has claimed responsibility

Zahid assured that Pakistan was making great efforts, playing important roles that the international community is taking note. He also voiced support to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s warning of retaliation if India launches any military action.
