More than 198 crore 20 lakh COVID vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far. The Health Ministry said, more than nine lakh ninety-five thousand vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours. During the same period, sixteen thousand one hundred and fifty-nine new COVID cases were reported in the country.
India’s Active caseload currently stands at over one lakh fifteen thousand and it is at 0.26 percent. The recovery rate is currently at 98.53 percent. A total of 15 thousand 394 people recovered in the last 24 hours and with this, the total recoveries touched over four crore 29 lakh. The Ministry said, the Weekly Positivity Rate stands at 3.84 percent and the Daily Positivity Rate is at 3.56 percent. A total of 86 crore 49 lakh COVID tests have been conducted in the country so far. In the last 24 hours, more than four lakh 54 thousand tests were conducted.
