IMD Predicts Heavy Rain Fall Across The Country Over Next 3 Days

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted heavy rainfall over the Northwest, West, East, and Central parts of the country over the next 3 days. Heavy rain has also been estimated for the South Peninsular region till tomorrow. The weather agency predicted heavy rainfall over Jammu, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh till 23rd August. It has also forecast the same for West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand, Arunachal Pradesh, and some parts of the Northeast region. IMD said that the low-pressure area over south Bangladesh and the neighbourhood persists over the same region. It is likely to move north-northwestwards and west-northwestwards during subsequent next two to three days across Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, and adjoining Bihar and Uttar Pradesh and adjoining Madhya Pradesh.
