India Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Haryana as it expects heavy rain. IMD also predicts Thunderstorms, Lightning accompanied by hail, and gusty winds with speeds of 30 to 40 kilometer per hour in these states.
Yesterday, the national capital received light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorm in evening making the weather more pleasant. The Weatherman has predicted generally cloudy sky with light rainfall in Delhi and its adjoining areas in the next 24 hours.
