Flipkart is hosting Big Diwali Sale on its platform ahead of the festive season. The sale began on October 21 and it will go on till October 25. During the sale, Google’s smart displays and smart speakers are available at a discounted price on Flipkart.
While the Google Nest Hub, which was launched in India earlier this year at a price of 9,999, will be available for Rs 8,999 on Flipkart, Google Home, which was launched in the country at a starting price of Rs 9,999, will be available for Rs 6,999 on the platform.
Apart from the price cut, Flipkart is offering a 10 per cent discount on all the purchases made using SBI Bank Credit and Debit cards. This would bring down the effective price of the Google Nest Hub to Rs 8,100 and of last year’s Google Home to Rs 6,300.
In addition to this, the Walmart-owned e-retailer is offering a five per cent on all purchases made using Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card. This would bring down the effective price of the Google Nest Hub from Rs 8,999 to Rs 8,500. Similarly, using this offer, potential buyers can get Google Home for Rs 6,650 instead of Rs 6,999. There is also another offer as a part of which Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card users will get five per cent unlimited cashback.
Also, Google Home Mini, which was launched alongside the Google Home smart speaker for Rs 4,499, will be available for Rs 2,799 on the platform. Prior to this, Google’s hockey-puck shaped smart speaker was available for Rs 2,999 on the Indian e-retail platform. That said, potential buyers can get their hands on the Google Home Mini smart speaker at a lesser price. Using the SBI Bank offer, which as you would recall offers 10 per cent discount, Home Mini will be available for Rs 2,520, while availing the Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card would bring down the effective price of the device to Rs 2,660. It is worth noting that Google has launched the Google Nest Mini smart speaker and it will be available in India soon. That said, Google hasn’t specified any date as to when the tiny smart speaker will go on sale in the country.
