President Droupadi Murmu today said education is the only path for the all-round development of a human being. She said getting employment should not be the only motto of education and students must acquire vast knowledge through education as it leads a person towards betterment. The President said this while addressing students of Uparbeda Government Higher Primary School in Mayurbhanj district where she once studied about six decades ago. President Murmu, who is on a five-day visit to her home state Odisha from Tuesday, arrived at her native village Uparbeda this morning for the first time after assuming the highest office in the country. She is scheduled to inaugurate three railway lines, Bangiriposi to Gorumahisani, Badampahad to Keonjhar, and Budamora to Chakulia at Bangriposi tomorrow. In addition, President Murmu will also lay the foundation stone for the Rairangpur Tribal Research Center, the development of Dand Bose Airport, and the conversion of Rairangpur Hospital to a super speciality medical facility on the last day of her visit tomorrow.
