CBSE Withdraws Affiliation Of 21 Schools In Rajasthan And Delhi Over Irregularities In Student Attendance

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has withdrawn the affiliation of 21 schools in Rajasthan and Delhi due to a significant number of non-attending students in classes 11 and 12. The Board has also downgraded 6 schools from Senior Secondary to Secondary level.

CBSE informed that it conducted surprise inspections of 27 affiliated schools across Rajasthan and Delhi on 3rd September this year. During the inspections, CBSE found significant irregularities, including a large number of non-attending students in certain schools. As a result, CBSE issued Show Cause Notices to the schools and allowed 30 days for responses.

The CBSE emphasized that such practices undermine educational integrity and are in direct contradiction with the mission of fostering quality education and student development. The Board reiterated its commitment to addressing these issues and promoting ethical educational standards.
