High Alert in the Silicon Valley of India. Violence broke out in the city at around 10 PM on Tuesday because of an inflammatory post made by P Naveen, a relative of Congress MLA Akhanda Srinivasa Murthy.
Before we start, the discussion should be laid on whether these riots were needed? Were these riots pre-planned? Is this how a secular country looks like? Is secularism just for Hindus?
There are many Anti-Hindu posts we see circulating in our day to day life, we even see how some comedians make fun of Hinduism but we see no violence or riots taking place because of this. We even see some Woke Kids or Liberals feeling ashamed as a Hindu or are apologizing on behalf of Hindus. But when it comes to the second majority of this country who are Muslims, without any doubt we have seen them vandalizing the property, pelting stones, making violence, and creating unrest. Bangalore Riots are based on the same intolerance we saw coming from the Muslim community.
It all started with a Facebook comment allegedly done by the nephew of Congress MLA Akhanda Srinivasa Murthy. The comment was considered as a derogatory remark on their Nabi by extremists in the Muslim community who called for riots in East Bangalore. But nobody talked about that it was a reply to an offensive post made on Lord Krishna by a Muslim who is a member of INC India over which Naveen lost his cool and replied in a derogatory way. Tensions grew in the city on Tuesday evening at around 6 PM and around 10 at night, riots broke out.
Instead of filling any complaint, the mob which was armed had petrol bombs and had all intentions to incite riots gathered at KG Halli Police Station and started protesting while the other group of people rushed to MLA’s resident in Kaval Byrasandra in DJ Halli Police Station limits and started throwing petrol bombs and burning the vehicles kept outside. The mob which was supposed to have a peaceful protest suddenly turned to a violent protest, the protesters in front of the police station too started pelting stones while chanting “Allah Hu Akbar”.
Heavy police deployed in the KG Halli and DJ Halli to control the protest. They were around 250 people who created unrest in the city. While pelting stones at the police station, it is said that 3 senior officers and almost 50–60 cops are injured by them. Their aim to torch the MLA’s house in Kaval Byrasandra was forestalled by the police and the MLA and his family were shifted to another place safely.
While the mob was all set to torch the Police Station, the cops resorted to lathi-charge and had to use tear gas to bring the situation back to normal. In between when Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa received the news, he immediately spoke to the Home Minister Basawaraja Bommai and instructed him to take all the further actions to stop the spread of violence.
Amidst of this violence, Congress MLAs asked people to maintain peace and assured them the action will be taken soon for hurting their religious sentiments. Not only that but Congress MLA Murthy asked people to maintain peace and harmony.
But the mob was in no mood to listen to any of them and turned more violent, torching police and civilians vehicle, tried torching a temple, and people walking on the road were tortured by this mob. The mob was adamant to torch the Police Station and to harm the cops and civilians is when the police were given a free hand. The mob even tried harming the reporters who were working on the ground during the whole incident took place.
As per the sources, police gave the warning by firing in the air first but the mob looked in no mood to take any kind of warning and turned more violent as a result 3 protesters killed while only 3–4 injured. Almost 110 people are taken into custody. Only after this situation came a bit in control when the senior police officer ordered to restore section 144 CrPc which was already imposed in the city due to COVID-19 will be more strict and restrictions based.
To cover the story and to come on the clean light, Muslims faked a human chain protecting a temple from the fellow Muslim protestors who were about to torch the temple. But the most interesting fact is, the temple where the human chain was created was almost 50 km away from the riots spot.
Naveen, who made a derogatory remark on Prophet Mohammad surrender before the Police as soon as the riots broke out and claimed that his account was hacked. Before this incident, Bilal Bagh in DJ Halli turned the anti CAA protest site.
Here the other set of questions raised: Who are the real fascists? Which community is a liability to our country? Are Hindus creating the actual problem? Why Hindus are asked to maintain peace irrespective of their involvement?
Hindus who are considered fascist, intolerant in this country, being in the majority never tried to incite riots when their religious sentiments were hurt. It may be Kamra or Joshua mocking Hindu Lords, all Hindus tried to walk on the path of the Constitution and had full faith in our Judiciary were as one post against Muslims, who are the second majority in the country and are considered as peaceful people have been a part of major riots and mocking the constitution. These riots simply show how Hindus can just make a comment and suffer whereas the Muslim community burnt the whole city with their anger.
Having petrol bombs, 250 people to gather at the same place and not to forget were armed, pelted stones even before filling any complaint, it looks like, a conspiracy was made long before to create unrest in the city and not only that, the links are rooted back to 5th August 2020 when Ayodhya Ram Mandir Bhoomi Pujan took place. Their main motive was to destroy the temple in which they failed but the whole rampage looks pre-planned. The violent armed mob clearly gives the hints of conspiracy but who are behind this conspiracy is yet to unfold.
