BJP National President Nitin Nabin discusses Karnataka poll strategy during maiden state visit

BJP National President Nitin Nabin’s maiden visit to Karnataka today was marked by a series of meetings with party cadres and legislators, followed by a core committee meeting. Briefing the media, senior BJP leader C.T. Ravi said the National President discussed the party’s strategy for upcoming elections, including polls to five municipal corporations in Bengaluru, Panchayat elections, and the Assembly elections scheduled over the next two years in the state. He said the BJP currently governs 22 states and has over 400 Members of Parliament and more than 2,000 legislators across state Assemblies, adding that party workers have been urged to strengthen the organisation in Karnataka. Later, addressing the media, Nitin Nabin alleged that the Karnataka Congress government had “breached the trust” of the people since it came to power three years ago. He also accused Congress leaders of internal infighting and of neglecting public issues in the state.
