In Bihar, a hardcore naxal was killed in an encounter with police in Gaya district late last night.
The incident occured at Mahuari village in Barachatti police station area of the district.
The slain naxal was an area commander and was carrying a reward of 10 lakh rupees on his head.
Gaya SSP Rajiv Mishra said, two villagers were also killed and three cobra jawans injured in the gunbattle. Injured jawans have been admitted to Anugrah Narain Hospital in Gaya.
