Economic partnership, trade, investment and agriculture will be the core agenda during the discussions German Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel will have with the Indian leadership during her three-day official visit beginning today.
Entire gamut of bilateral issues including science, education, technology, people to people contact programme and cultural exchanges will also be points of discussions. The Chancellor will be accompanied by several Ministers and State Secretaries of the Federal Government, as well as a high-powered business delegation. During the visit, Prime Minister Modi and the German chancellor will co-chair the fifth Biennial Inter-Governmental Consultations. There will also be an exchange of agreements.
Briefing the media in New Delhi, MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said, this visit will further expand the India-Germany relationship.
